Pre-season

The series is known as the Marsh Community Series after the JLT Group was taken over by the insurance firm Marsh earlier this year.

The 2020 Marsh Community Series is to be played before the pre-season competitions of the Australian Football League (AFL) before the home season of 2020. Three weekends will feature 18 matches. The competition will not be a grand final winner or general winner as it has since 2014. All matches will broadcast directly through Fox Footy and the AFL Live app.

The pre-season 2020 event will begin on 20 February in St Kilda and Hawthorn. This will be the first game to start, and in more than 25 years it will be now known as RSEA Oval.
